Rahama Sadau, a well-known Kannywood actress, has been nominated to the technical committee that oversees the Investment In Digital and Creative Enterprise (iDICE) programme.
The iDICE Programme, a collaboration between the government and international partners such as the Bank of Industry (BoI), African Development Bank (AfDB), French Development Agency (FDA), and Islamic Development Bank (IDB), aims to support and empower digital and creative enterprises.
In its most recent meeting in March, the National Economic Council (NEC) approved the implementation of the $617.7 million i-DICE programme in the 36 states of the Federation and the FCT.
On Thursday, Vice President Kashim Shettima inaugurated Rahama and other appointees to the committee.
In a post via her X page, the 30-year-old expressed her gratitude over the appointment, adding that she appreciates the “support and confidence in me”.
“I am pleased, honored and humbled to accept my appointment to serve on the technical committee of the IDICE (Investment In Digital and Creative Enterprise) program,” she wrote.
“This is indeed a humbling experience to witness. My warmest appreciation to my principal His Excellency Senator Kashim Shettima for the recognition and inclusion.
