Posted on September 29, 2023

The Federal Government, FG, has announced Monday, October 2, 2023, as a national holiday to commemorate the nation’s 63rd anniversary of independence.

Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Minister of Interior, who made the announcement in Abuja, congratulated all Nigerians at home and abroad.

Olubunmi assured Nigerians of the government’s continuous commitment to addressing the country’s difficulties.

He did, however, state that the administration is making daily efforts to address these diverse and complex issues with all of its might until relief arrives.

Tunji-Ojo reaffirmed that Nigeria’s preeminent position in the community of nations, as well as the greatness that awaits the country, are attainable if Nigerians work together in unity.

“The government is making efforts to confront the numerous challenges with all the might available until respite comes the way of the country.
