The Ogun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has upheld Dapo Abiodun’s election as governor of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The three-person tribunal led by Hamidu Kunaza ruled that Ladi Adebutu’s petition was “incompetent.”
In an 11-hour decision, the panel affirmed Abiodun’s election while rejecting Adebutu’s petition.
In a unanimous judgement, the tribunal said “the petition lacks merit and it is hereby dismissed.”
