On Thursday evening, the draw for the group stage of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) was held in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.
Nigeria’s Super Eagles will face the hosts Cote d’Ivoire, as well as Guinea-Bissau and Guinea.
The delayed competition, scheduled between January 13 and February 11, 2024, will have twenty teams.

All group winners and runners-up and the four highest-ranked third-placed teams qualify for the knockout stage.
