Anita Chukwumfumnaya Obidi, as Korra Obidi, is a Nigerian dancer, singer-songwriter, and model.

1. Obidi was born on June 23, 1991, in Oshimili North Local Government Area, Delta State.

 

2. Obidi was married to Justin Dean, an American doctor and sports therapist, and they had two children.

3. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Lagos.

 

4. Obidi began her career at a young age, acting, singing, and dancing in church.

5. She had belly dancing and classical odissi training in Cairo and Lagos from Priti Mastakar.

6. Obidi launched her music career in 2015 with the release of her debut single, “Man Like You,” followed by an Extended Playlist (EP) titled “Woman Power.”

7. Obidi recorded the world cup song “Africa” in 2017, which was well received by music and football lovers alike.

8. In 2019, she appeared on “So You Think You Can Dance,” a prominent American dancing show.

9. Obidi appeared on the runways of both the Port Harcourt International Fashion Week and the GTBank Fashion Week.
