President Bola Tinubu has removed the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) from the Treasury Single Account (TSA).
This, he added, would allow the Nyesom Wike-led FCTA to use the territory’s Internally Generated Revenue IGR for the development of the nation’s capital.
Wike, who made the announcement at a news conference in Abuja on Friday, also stated that the President has authorized the formation of the FCT Civil Service Commission.

This, he claims, will help the FCT Administration’s workforce to advance.
Civil servants in the area have been protesting about the consequences of the absence of such a Commission on their career advancement.
